U2UK
U2UK formed in January 2002
Formed when Bono (Paul Collyer) placed an advert in the local newspaper. Edge & Adam (Simon & Ady) had placed the same ad 12 months prior in the same newspaper, but had no luck.
U2 UK’s first gig was in March 2002 on the day Paul’s appearance on ‘Stars in their Eyes’ was shown.
Their show has grown immensely and now features a lighting show that captures the true spirit of U2 U2UK’s Boy Backdrop was specially hand painted by our very own Adam Clayton (Ady).
The Band try to keep their equipment authentic, helping to recreate that U2 Live sound U2UK pride themselves on the spirit and charisma of a LIVE U2 Show. All of the members of U2UK are massive U2 fans having seen the Real U2 many times including POPMART & ELEVATION
