A musical tribute to the 1940's
The Roaring Forties
Designed for those who want an evening of 1940's nostalgia, dancing & fun.
Flt Lieutenant Tommy Thomas feature with totally live keyboards and vocals playing all the songs made so famous in the 1940's and WW11 years.
Comedy songs and a London Cockney set plus recordings of Glenn Miller and bands of the era giving you the chance to quick step, waltz, foxtrot and Jitterbug the night away.
Tommy also provides a full P.A system, all the recorded music, stage lighting, authentic background music.
All stage props, camouflage netting, a BIG union jack, and various armed forces artifacts, also Cockney song sheets.
Also available as a duo teaming up with Sgt John Marshall performing as 'Twice as Nice' (see duos)

Although we make a very spirited sound, we will not dominate your party with conversation-killing noise. We have a special set of quieter numbers, compiled as discreet background music for when the glamour of dance music would be inappropriate.

This long running show is lead by band leader John Knowles. Lead Vocalist is ex Joe Loss singer Terri Morgan. All music is played live by the band, comprising of piano, drums, saxophone, guitar, lead vocals from our forces sweetheart and optional trumpet.
Jim the Spiv will also do speeches from Neville Chamberlain and Winston Churchil but the emphasis is on music, music, music and you can dance til you drop!
