The Maiden Quartet
The Maiden Quartet was established in 1999 by Merith Godwin-Greer and Vicky Matthews, and is taken from a select group of highly experienced female professional musicians. The group specialises in background entertainment for a variety of events, and has extensive experience of all types of events including weddings, media and corporate entertainment.
We are able to produce a wide range of styles, from formal to funky, baroque to boogie, and have a comprehensive repertoire. If you would like to hear a particular piece of music not on our repertoire list, it can be arranged specially for the quartet to play. We can also cater our appearance to any type of event, and are able to incorporate additional members to form a chamber orchestra for events which may require a larger group.
As well as being highly experienced in the classical field, members of the maiden quartet have also appeared live and on television (Top of the Pops/sm:tv/an audience with... etc.) with artists such as Elton John, Lulu, Westlife and more. The Maiden Quartet is also available for recital performances, session and television work.
For any occasion, be it festive or romantic, personal or civic or business, the maiden quartet can help set the mood and add that finishing touch.

Variations on a Theme is a West Midlands based team of professional musicians who’ll add a special touch to your event anywhere in the UK.

Manchester String Quartet
The Manchester String Quartet was formed in 2000 and made its city debut in 2003 giving a performance at the old University Music department's concert hall as guests of the Lindsay String Quartet in the Ida Carroll Lunchtime concert series.
All four members are University Graduates and have all studied at the Royal Northern College of Music.
The Quartet has performed both throughout Britain and abroad, and recently gave a series of concerts in Zambia.
In addition to classical repertoire the Manchester quartet have extensive experience providing music for functions, weddings and similar occasions with a wide repertoire of jazz, blues, pop, and Bollywood theme tune arrangements.

As well as playing the works of the great composers for the medium, it has its own unique library of sparkling and witty arrangements of all kinds of popular music from Opera through Swing and Jazz to the great Musicals, Pop hits and Rock classics.

Divertimento play at weddings, christenings, dinners, parties corporate events and fashion shows in venues as diverse as Blenheim Palace, Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons, marquees, private houses, Oxford Colleges, gardens and afloat.
The Divertimento String Quartet provide a subtle blend of baroque, classical, romantic folk, jazz, ragtime and other popular styles. The Divertimento string quartet recorded the music for Delia Smith's BBC cookery programme.

Ariella string trio
Ariella String Quartet was established in Milton Keynes in 1999 by a group of conservatoire trained musicians. All the individual members live in and around Milton Keynes and work professionally throughout the United Kingdom and internationally. They play regularly in London, the home counties, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and the South Midlands.
As well as playing for functions and weddings, Ariella String Quartet regularly give formal Chamber recitals in varying forms: String quartet, String Trio and also String Quintet.

Between them, Rebecca, Polly, Caroline and Celia have played in Cardiff Symphonia, the Cambridge Mozart Players, the Cotswold Symphony Orchestra, the Kensington Chamber Orchestra and The Lydian. They have also made studio recordings and undertaken session work.
No Strings Attached has played at a range of events including banquets, weddings, dinners and charity fundraising balls.
We have performed in castles, churches and shopping centres, on racecourses, naval bases and the back of a lorry. We’ve even played on board a small floating raft!

The Atlantic Trio was formed in Yucatan, México, whilst working together in the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra. Members Kate, Jonathan and Suzanne have performed together in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Latin America.
Musicians they have worked with include Placido Domingo, Lord Yehudi Menuhin, Richard Clayderman and Yuri Bashmet.
As chamber musicians they have performed in venues such as the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Purcell Room, the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City, and the Covent Garden Opera House.
